Poverty Bay, East Coast to go head-to-head for 176th clash

Battle lines are being drawn and troops assembled ahead of the big stoush on King’s Birthday Weekend. 

The Miah Nikora-coached Poverty Bay Weka will take on the Kahu Tamatea-coached Ngāti Porou East Coast Kaupoi at the Oval at 2.30pm on Saturday. 

Both unions this week named squads to prepare for the fixture.
