Taylor and Corrin in the top 10 after second round

Gisborne’s Nutri-Grain IronMan & IronWoman Series athletes Cory Taylor and Olivia Corrin both sit well inside the top 10 after two rounds of the prestigious series at Bondi Beach in Sydney at the weekend.

Taylor finished eighth overall after Friday and Saturday’s races, out of the 20 men in the field.

He is on 22-point-5 points from the two rounds.

Corrin sits a highly creditable sixth overall after a 5th-equal placing on Saturday.

She is on 24-point-5 points in the 20 strong women’s field.

These have been Olivia’s best results so far in her time in the Nutri-Grain series.

The third round of the series scheduled for North Bondi yesterday was postponed due to the tsunami alert issued after the Tongan volcanic eruption.

The remaining rounds will be contested at Kurrawa Beach in Queensland.
