Rural residents turn up for vaccinations
TURANGA Health's mobile vaccination clinics in rural areas are going well, according to CEO Reweti Ropiha, who said that he and his team were delighted with the results so far.
The rural programme began on July 21 and since then 733 people have had their first vaccination shot.
“General comments from attendees indicate that people like to be able to have the vaccination shot in their own district and that the times of the clinic mean they can come after working hours.
“These clinics will return to the districts every three weeks so people can get their second vaccination shot.”
Please note the dates, times and venues for the next round of clinics in the rural districts in the whanau vaccination rural roll-out advertisement on page 15.
