Those reports are biased

You're a moron Stuart Moriarty-Patten! Don't you know that most of the world's media is heavily favoured toward Hamas and other “poor Palestinians”? Are you aware that the term Palestinians was coined by the Romans to describe the Hebrews living in the Holy Land 2000 years ago? They called us Palestinians because they couldn't pronounce Philistines.

Both my parents grew up during the Ottoman days and I was born there during the British mandate. When we left in early 1948 we were considered “stateless”.There was much mistreatment of us by the Turks followed by the British, who allowed the local Arabs to have all manner of military equipment while we weren't allowed any.

Today's Israeli Arab has full citizenship rights. Arafat was the first modern Muslim to call the Israeli Arabs “Palestinians”, as though they were a new race.

Hamas doesn't want the two state solution because they claim the land for themselves, even though the Hebrews had lived in the Holy Land for thousands of years before the Muslims even existed.

As for the Ethiopian Jews, they live in Israel because they want to and as a tribe of ancient Israel are accorded all citizenship rights. I personally have seen them living in railway carriages in Israel but they prefer that to the mistreatment they receive in Ethiopia, whose people consider the tribe of Menashe beneath them even as they claim to have the Holy Ark of the Covenant in their possession which, of course, they're unable to reveal.

Seems to me your definition of apartheid is as idiotic as you are. How dare you, being neither Arab nor Jew, consider yourself arbiter of world affairs? Why not write about the Croats and the Serbs in the Balkans who also fight over “their land”?

  1. Stuart Moriarty-Patten says:

If being an idiotic moron means that I am aligned with many human rights organisations, politicians across the world, UN rapporteurs, University Professors, War On Want, Roger Walters of Pink Floyd … I could go on but my reply is limited to 350 words … then I guess we all are idiotic morons, and I’m actually quite proud that I am one. I wonder what you would call Noam Chomsky who described Israel’s action as being worse than apartheid?

    1. Will Dobbie says:

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction . . . . How long will you who are simple love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery . . . and fools hate knowledge?”
      Quod erat demonstratum. Proverbs 1: 7, 22. N.I.V.

      1. Tony Lee says:

And fools hate knowledge… quod erat demonstrandum.

  2. Tony Lee says:

In 2009, Norman Finkelstein, a prominent critic of successive Israeli governments, stated: “I think Israel, as a number of commentators pointed out, is becoming an insane state. And we have to be honest about that. While the rest of the world wants peace, Europe wants peace, the US wants peace, but this state wants war, war and war.” In the first week of the massacres, there were reports in the Israeli press that Israel did not want to put all its ground forces in Gaza because it was preparing attacks on Iran. Then there were reports it was planning attacks on Lebanon. It is a lunatic state.

  3. Clive Bibby says:

While we are on the subject of prophecy Tony.
    How about Mathew 24:6
Christ himself saying “there will be wars and rumours of wars”.
Your promoter of false narratives are obviously the people he was talking about.
And just as an aside in response to your Israeli critic’s misrepresentation of Israel’s position, which it has held in most of the conflicts since the establishment of Jewish State.
In virtually every case, the wars are started by others wanting to eliminate Israel from the face of the Earth, which puts them in a position where they have to defend themselves time after time. Far from being the aggressor, they reluctantly retaliate and when it is all over, usually withdraw from territory seized during the conflict. Hardly the characteristics of a “Warmonger” State that Mr Finkelstein describes.
Yet you will note that your (presumably) resident Jew makes these unfounded claims without fear of being arrested for expressing his personal views. It is hard to imagine him getting away with that sort of talk if he was badmouthing his homeland as a citizen of any Middle Eastern State other than Israel.
But there is obviously a market out there and even here for those who want to peddle these untruths. You don’t know how lucky you are.
