Graeme Cook and Glen, pictured here in action at the Spring Show last year, had a good weekend at the Waipaoa Dog Trial Club’s event at the weekend, with a win in the long head and second in the short head and yard. File picture

A one-two finish for Graeme Cook in the heads, a fine win to Hannah Hutchinson in the zigzag and another win in the straight hunt to the consistent Ben Te Kahika were highlights of the Waipaoa Dog Trial Club’s trial on Friday and Saturday.

Cook won the long head with Glen and a score of 95, then he and Glen finished runners-up to Colin Bayliss and Jet in the short head and yard.
