CARSWELL, Mavis June. RN. Maj NZ Army T46431. Passed away peacefully at Mary Shapley Private Hospital, Whakatane on 14th May 2024, aged 82. Sister of Faye and Ted, Patsy and Rob, Ivan, Brian and Murray. Aunt and friend to many. In accordance with Mavis’ wishes a private cremation has been held and her ashes will be laid to rest with her parents, Norman and Jessie at Taruheru Cemetery, Gisborne at a later date. Many thanks to the staff at Mary Shapley Private Hospital for their wonderful care of Mavis.
