Keep Govt out of private places
I see the Government is now looking to ban smoking in public places and in cars.

As an ex-smoker I encourage all smokers to give up this bad habit, but first and foremost it is a person’s right to choose whether they wish to smoke or not. At this stage it is still legal to do so.

Ban it in public places by all means but when it comes to a person’s car, that is a very slippery slope. What would be next? Your home? Banning you from eating “fatty” foods in your car and home?

Once started the slide begins and gathers momentum. The Government begins to grab more and more control.

You sort of expect these actions from a socialist Labour government but the rot seems to be setting in to our current National-led Parliament.

Don’t let the anti-smoking brigade grab too much control, because they don’t know when to call it quits.
