Now that Maori are claiming ownership of the water and the wind, I think they should also consider ownership of the sun as there could be more money to be made from commercial solar power. I wouldn’t worry about the moon at this stage, although it does affect the sea tides. Maybe this could be considered in the future.

I agree - I think we are over the top and getting carried away with our claims. We seem to be claiming everything except our issues. Sky News reports that we are claiming ownership of the water and then, in the next clip, Maori have the highest 'huffing' rate. Hika - here in Oz we don't even know what 'huffing' is . . . however, we figure that it must be the opposite of 'puffing' - which is something to do with false pride. So I guess if you don't huff and you're not interested in puffing, then you move to Oz - which is what most Maori seem to be doing. Crikey mate - maybe we should claim Oz?

Are you saying Maori are as bad as the National Government?
Or as bad as the corporations that support the National Government?
Maybe Maori feel like they have to stand up and fight fire with fire.
If that's the reason, then who could blame them.
They have to stoop to the Pakeha level or risk being shipped out to Australia.
