Really, no use?
“A Gizzy Local” says it is pointless spending large amounts of taxpayer money (he estimates $80m) to keep a rail line open that will not be used. No doubt he has reliable sources and we can take his figures as gospel.

I was, however, surprised to learn the line would not be used. The 10,000 locals who petitioned our caring politicians should take note. So should the silly Aussies who continue to build railway lines and ports using Kiwi labour.
