Offshore investment
Our society has its fair share of swindlers. They come in many different shapes and forms including ecology. Greenpeace has been using the theme of environmentalism to campaign against asset sales — on the basis that profits could go offshore.

They will say anything to get what they want. The shocking truth is that of the $8 million they collected last year from the support and donations of fellow New Zealanders, they sent almost a quarter offshore to their international body!

Re: Offshore Investment
Denis Shuker says Kiwis were swindled because a quarter of the $8 million collected by Greenpeace was sent offshore to the international body!
I contribute to Greenpeace - I assumed Greenpeace exists and speaks out for the whole planet and all that threatens it. Not exclusively New Zealanders.
Personally, I was surprised only a quarter of my pittance went to the International Body.
I am confident the long-term benefits of the mere $8 million Denis stated Kiwis donated (to this great cause) to be more beneficial to our futures than the massive $926 million New Zealanders gambled away on Lotto during the same period
