Ad ‘spot on’
Re: KiwiRail ads, July 30.

It seems that KiwiRail has been told by the Government to cut costs and/or increase returns.

Its advertisement for getting trucks off the road was spot on, but ironic given the delay in fixing Gisborne’s rail link. As the affected line is part of the nationwide network, the costs of repair must come from nationwide funding — whether from KiwiRail or the Government.
