See you at next concert

On Sunday afternoon (July 27) we went to St Andrew’s Church to hear Gisborne Civic Orchestra give its Winter Concert — we were entertained not only by them but also the Gisborne Girls’ High School Choir and jaCIAura chamber ensemble.

In a few words, it was wonderful. They played from Vivaldi to Andrew Lloyd Webber to Brook Fraser — well worth the $10 entry fee.

Afterwards, in St Andrew’s hall, they provided afternoon tea. Who said you can’t get much for $10?

Well done to all and see you at the next concert.
