No Rambos
Saturday, July 07, 2012
In response to the letter from “Saddened”, July 5.
Is the problem killing animals or that Ngatapa School is fundraising in this manner?
It is not correct to assume that a hunt means inhumane killing practices. Be assured that a “pest eradication hunt” isn’t a Rambo-style killing spree of poor defenseless animals; it is a community being responsible and doing their bit to ensure that the habitat of our native flora and fauna is pest-free, with the added bonus of much-needed funds for the school.
