Motorists should find driving easier around Eastland Port today, after an issue with a door caused a major back-up of log trucks.
One motorist described the log jam yesterday as being 31 trucks long, stretching from the port to the Caltex fuel station on the corner of Crawford Road.
A port spokeswoman said the issue was resolved mid-morning yesterday.
"One of the doors on the scaling shed was damaged due to the bad weather last night (Tuesday night), which caused delays to trucks accessing the port today. The door was repaired this morning, and the traffic should clear later this morning. We apologise to those who were affected by the delays."
