Thanks from the heart

A big shout out of “Thanks” to the generous folks of Gisborne who gave donations to the Heart Foundation's collection site at The Warehouse last Friday.

We raised $178!!

And because we were a week earlier than the official date, we avoided the cancellation of monetary collection due to Covid awareness.

Yeah, the money is now gratefully being forwarded to head office in Auckland.

And are you aware that heart disease is still the biggest killer in New Zealand.

Thanks again Gizzy.

    Ah, Sharon you say:
“And are you aware that heart disease is still the biggest killer in New Zealand.”
Where do you get this information?
Try this link for an update:

In NZ the juvenile death-by-medical-intervention rate is close to 13,000 per year.
Of those who survived; in 2018, some 33316 died of “all” other causes.
Chapter 9 Diseases of the circulatory system 10306 (died), which is some
    31% of “all deaths”.
However, to quote the NZ stats page: ““18 percent of known pregnancies (live births, stillbirths, and abortions) ended in an abortion.”
These ones, also, had no defence against an imposed death sentence.

We all get to die; it is usually an unplanned escape from these limited dimensions.
