As publications go, The Gisborne Herald is a winner.
I sit down and read it after my dinner.
When I lived on a farm many, many years ago.
The paper would arrive by the bus driver's throw.
The Red Bus delivered Heralds to places out of town —
they would be flung out the door on to the ground.
You still give us all the news and your reporting is first-rate.
I'm not depending on a bus nowadays, so your news is never late.
Keep up the good work and well done all of you.
