Kaumatua of the area from east point Makorori to north-east point Pouawa should bring in a rahui next year from May 1 to December 15, one kilometre out from shoreline, and continue this seasonally.

We need to give our kai a chance to replenish. No taking paua, kina, boo boo's or kura — and no commercial hunters to operate either.
