Stay home Tairawhiti, stay safe, be kind

First day of nationwide lockdown under way.

Gisborne and the rest of New Zealand has now gone into lockdown.

The Covid-19 level 4 restrictions require all people not in essential work to stay home and bans gatherings of people.

As a result, playgrounds, carparks and meeting points like Titirangi/Kaiti Hill Lookout have been closed to the public.
