The ram sale season got off to a solid start on Friday with the combined sale at the Matawhero saleyards.

It was a sell out, with all 35 rams on offer sold, with a price range from $500 up to $1600.

The Story family from Ratanui near Tolaga Bay sold their line-up on-farm, and the Candy's will take centre stage on Friday at Matawhero when they present the Mangahauhau Hampshire offering for the season.
