Painted works, abstract expressionist in nature and minimal printed works feature in Miharo Gallery co-director, Sarah (Hera) Clifton’s exhibition, My Little Eye. Opening tomorrow, the show is deeply personal, a journey of healing through some difficult times, says Clifton. Having graduated in 2018 from Toihoukura, the works stem from the broad knowledge learned there as well as techniques for healing discovered while spending time at Te Kuwatawata (a bicultural service that applies matauranga (knowledge/understanding) to find a pathway for people experiencing distress), she says. My Little Eye opens at Miharo Gallery, 118 Gladstone Road, tomorrow at 6pm. Picture by Paul Rickard
