It was a dark and stormy night
From science fiction to romance, from haiku to memoir, the Tairawhiti Writers Hub is taking submissions for an anthology of writings from the East Coast.
A few prerequisites: Writers must be from Tairawhiti or have a link to the East Coast. All submissions must be previously unpublished. No more than 4000 words for short stories, and include a short bio – about 100 words – with your submission.
The deadline for submissions is May 20 and works should be submitted for consideration as a Word document to email@example.com. Depicted for inspiration is Leonid Pasternak's 19th century painting The Passion of Creation.

Publication of the anthology is made possible through a Margaret King Spencer Writers Encouragement Trust grant.
