A way of seeing

Photography means looking at something in a different way, says Elenor Gill, whose work is exhibited along with that of Kate Snow at Zest Cafe.

“A photograph, like any art form, is like a new view of the world. I look for something that grabs my interest, something that is a little unusual.

“We take so much for granted because we see things all the time. In photography, we can isolate parts of a subject and isolate the senses to look at something purely visually.

“What Kate and I wanted to do was to show a broad spectrum of the sort of thing that can be done.”
