Here’s an idea which cuts the mustard!
TAKING an holistic approach to vine health is one way to weather the hazards of grapevine-killing disease “black foot”.

Gisborne’s Riversun Nursery plant mustard is a way of combating the problem as scientific research has validated the importance of green crops and high organic matter levels in soils.

Every third year, a crop of oats is grown at the nursery in the springtime and then incorporated into the soil in autumn. A crop of mustard is grown during autumn-winter and is then incorporated into early spring.
