Could not agree more. We are constantly being told we are in financial trouble as a country. Money coming from the government or rates comes out of the same wallets, ultimately.
I note this is a two-year trial. I understand there is no money to repair the reduced entry into Hill Road where there is a big slip and concrete blocks narrowing the road.
I personally think we should replace the word government with “other people”.
It is not business as usual, I fear.
