Not a trial, an imposition

1 min read

Tiny Thompson is correct. The council does not listen. The ratepayers cannot afford Grey Street alterations. If we protest, the people who want it try to make the rest of us feel guilty.

Tiny raises safety issues, he raises the adverse effect it will have on businesses, on traffic in Childers Road and on ratepayers who live in the vicinity. His suggestion to do a dummy run makes sense.

Two years is not a trial, it’s an attempt to make us citizens accept a disruptive way of moving around town as normal.
